Save A Vet (SAV)® Foundation

Save A Vet Foundation is a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization (NGO) which supports the Veterans Administration (VA) by providing supplemental funds to meet the health care needs of Veterans, who due to resources or logistics are unable to obtain timely, effective or local medical care, rehabilitation or counseling through traditional pathways.

Through combined fund-raising initiatives within private and commercial sectors, and the support from individuals just like you, qualified Veterans will be able to obtain diagnostic testing, outpatient and rehabilitative services at local hospitals or clinics - paid directly to the health care provider for services rendered.

We recognize the trauma war places on Veterans and their families, and the resulting need for long-term rehabilitation in order to return to a productive lifestyle. We acknowledge the expense this process creates on the already over-burdened VA system. Save A Vet Foundation’s objective is to establish a professional collaborative relationship with the VA to coordinate the critical diagnostic and therapeutic care requirements outside the VA hospital network to assure all veterans receive the quality expeditious care they deserve.

Save A Vet does not reflect a political position regarding war. Our sole purpose is to support Veterans and the VA health network through “Operation Bridge to Care” to ensure expeditious and excellent diagnostic and therapeutic care is provided where it is most needed. It is our collective duty to optimize the quality of living for these returning heroes and military personnel.
